I tend to do a lot of baby shower cakes. I think it just has to do with where my friends/their friends are in life!
This was a cake for a western-themed baby shower. This one was a lot of fun to do. The boots were make out of gumpaste and all of the stitching was hand-painted.
This cake matched the invitation. The dots were individually cut out and placed on the band around the cake. The bow was made out of gum paste.
This was for a nautical-themed baby shower.
The stripes, damask pattern and dots of this cake matched the baby's bedding:
